Roger Broadbent

United Kingdom
I’m a dyslexic person who is passionate to represent the issues dyslexic people face, throughout Europe: it’s time for change. I have been closely involved with the European Dyslexia Group since we started in 2019. I am also the director of the Dyslexia Institute UK, where I work with a range of organisations delivering training and understanding of the subject of dyslexia.

Panayiotis Constantinides (MEd)

Greece

Panayotis is an English teacher, certified oral examiner and licensed Dyslexia evaluator. He holds a
Certificate in English Methodology from the British Council, a Diploma in IT from the Open
University, U.K. and a Master (Distinction) in Inclusive Education-Dyslexia from the University of
Glasgow. He has been teaching English for over 30 years and assessing students with Learning
Difficulties since 2012. He has given presentations and workshops on LD in ELT all over Greece
and in many European countries. Since 2006 he has been an oral examiner of levels B2-C2 for
the Michigan State University exams in Greece.

Mads Johan Øgaard

Norway

Mads is a Norwegian illustrator, animator, public speaker & special education teacher. He has Dyselxia and Dyscalculia.

Mads uses his experiences and skills to support and create awareness of these subjects, either through art, videos, public speaking, workshops or mentoring.
BA (Hons); Animation and VFX at Falmouth University. Where he directed the animated multi-award-winning short film named I AM DYSLEXIC.
Master in MA: Special Educational Needs at Exeter University.  

Martin Bloomfield

United Kingdom

Martin has sat on dyslexia advisory boards for the British Parliament and Centre for
Social Justice, and is a director for Britain’s Accessible Learning Foundation,
launched in Westminster Palace. He’s the editor of the academic journal
NeuroConverse and holds a PhD in ethics and diversity from the University of York.

Susanna Cederquist 

Sweden

Lecturer, speaker, adviser and author, using the concept En Bild av Dyslexi (A picture of dyslexia) from Sweden. Susanna educates teachers on dyslexia, as well as in authorities, companies, and workplaces. Running courses for adult dyslexics to better understand their competences etc.

She is a teacher with supplementary special education certificate.

Boelo van der Pool

Spain
Boelo is founder of the DisisEnglish project that helps Spanish speaking dyslexics to learn English. He is also a teacher trainer in the field of dyslexia friendly language teaching.
Apart from that, he participates in several international projects on innovation in education and dyslexia awareness and is a speaker on dyslexia and language teaching at teacher conferences.
He lives and works in Málaga (Spain)

Alice Vittoria Berti

Italy

Degree in Philology and Linguistics from “La Sapienza”University in Rome
Specialization in Philology , Linguistic and Litterature from the University of Siena
Private tutor from 2018, Italian Dyslexia association and collaborator since 2023.
I will soon become a special needs tutor with AID. I have always been very passionate about languages, I travelled a lot during my teenage years and had many experiences with cultural exchanges. I lived in Rome, Paris and Arezzo.

Sarah Sainty

Portugal
Sarah Sainty is a UK-trained speech and language therapist, who has specialised in assessing and supporting people with dyslexia. She lives and works in Portugal, but also does a variety of dyslexia-related work for organisations and individuals in the UK. 

Yolanda Ruiz

Spain
Yolanda is a teacher. She is very involved with dyslexia since one of her sons was diagnosed in 2016. She is collaborator and member of “Dislexia Euskadi” Association’s Board of Directors, which was founded in 2005 and defends the rights of people with dyslexia in the Basque Country (North of Spain).
